Stair Climber Repair
Stepmills take a beating. Our technicians service the chains, motors, and steps that keep them safe, smooth, and quiet under heavy use.
Everything you need from a trusted Central Valley partner
Stair climbers and stepmills are among the highest-wear machines in any facility — every workout puts the full weight of the user on the step chain and drive system. We service revolving-staircase stepmills and pedal-style steppers alike, replacing step and drive chains, servicing drive motors and alternators, swapping worn steps and rollers, and inspecting brakes and safety systems. Because these machines are safety-critical, we treat every service call as a chance to catch a problem before it becomes a hazard.

Frequently asked questions
Why are the steps on my stepmill jerky or sticking?
A jerky or sticking staircase usually means a worn or improperly tensioned step chain, a failing drive motor, or worn rollers. Because this is a safety issue, we recommend taking the unit out of service until it's inspected.
Is it safe to keep using a stepmill that's making noise?
Grinding or knocking noises on a stepmill can signal a worn chain or drive component that could fail under load. We recommend a prompt inspection — stepmills carry more user weight on moving parts than any other cardio machine.
How often should stepmills be serviced?
Because of their high-wear chains, busy stepmills benefit from inspection every 2-3 months. Regular chain service is far cheaper than replacing a drive motor that failed from running on a worn, over-stretched chain.
